Shark Wild Water Races

Last Saturday of each month at 11:00am

First  Race Saturday 30th October 2010

Race 1: Start adjacent to the weir stream at Coppermill Lock, opposite the Coy Carp, the finish is approximately 1,000m down stream. Parking is available at the Coy Carp, please respect their customers and park at the far end and be discreet when changing.

Race 2: Start at Hartham Weir opposite Hartham Leisure Centre at Hertford Canoe Club. The finish is about a 1,000m down stream at the confluence of the Lea and the Bean. There is free parking near the finish.

The race will consist of two runs down the course: The fastest run will be counted for the Wavehopper race, for those entered in Wavehoppers. The times of the two runs will be added together for the Division B and Open race.

In addition to the ranking races, each competitor will earn points for The Shark WWW Winter League. There will be medals for each age class for the over all winners as well as at each race.

There will also be a club trophy, for the Club which wins the most points over the series.

Sharks Winter WWR Series Details

The Winter WWR races will run on the last Saturday of each month, beginning at 11:00am. Booking in from 9:30am.

Dates:

Saturday October 30th at 11:00am - Harefield
Saturday November 27th at 11:00am - Hertford
Saturday January 29th at 11:00am - Rickmansworth
Saturday February 26th at 11:00am - TBA
Saturday March 26th at 11:00am -  Harefield

Cost per race is £3.00 for under 18s or £12 for the series
Seniors £5.00 per race or £20 for the series.
